Home > News, Events > Banbury Prayer Beacon 10 days of prayer Thy Kingdom Come

The Banbury Prayer Beacon is again running 24/7 continuous prayer in Banbury.  This year the event is organised to coincide with the global “Thy Kingdom Come” initiative running from Ascension Day, Thursday May 10th until Pentecost, Sunday May 20th. As usual, a Prayer Room will be available at The Salvation Army, George Street in Banbury and the theme will be The Lord’s Prayer.  There will be six prayer stations following the six key elements of the Lord’s Prayer.

The event starts with a Launch Service at 7pm on Thursday 10th May for about an hour, and then concludes with a bring and share tea and Closing Celebration event from 5pm on Sunday May 20th, also coinciding with the Prayer Beacon’s May Prayer Evening.  All are welcome to both events.

As a Church we have offered to act as stewards on Monday 14th May from 7am – 7am Tuesday 15 May. David R will bring to Church the list he has emailed if you are able to offer an hour or two please add you name to it.
