Tiddlywinks & Bitesize

Tiddlywinks is a toddler group, run by volunteers from Bloxham Baptist Church. We aim to create a warm friendly atmosphere where adults and children feel welcome and relaxed, and where fun and play is a priority.

It takes place every Thursday in the church building on Hawke Lane during the school term time from 9.45 – 11.45 a.m. It is for all parents, carers and their children from babies to aged four.

Craft activities are available throughout the morning.

Drinks and biscuits for everyone are served at 10.30 am

We tidy up most of the toys at 11.30 am and then have a short time singing children’s songs and nursery rhymes led by one of the Tiddlywinks team.

Bitesize is a session for expectant mothers and mums/carers with babies under 1 year. It runs after Tiddlywinks on a Thursday in the Church building from 12.15 – 1.30 pm.  It is a time to meet others with similar aged children, chat and make friends in a relaxed atmosphere. A selection of toys appropriate for younger children are available to keep the little ones entertained whilst the adults eat and talk.

You are welcome to bring lunch for your child and there are seats with trays if these are needed. Although the focus of this group is those babies under a year older siblings are welcome.

A sandwich lunch is on offer for the adults and we ask for a contribution of £2.00 (75p for older siblings if they eat too) to cover the cost of the food. There is always enough food so feel free to come along and join us, it would be lovely to see you.
